Cooking and eating while on the hcg diet will not be a gourmet experience, but even with the limited calories, with the right hcg diet recipes you can still enjoy delicious meals.

Diet Plan – Casserole with chicken breast and broccoli.

2 pounds chicken breast
4 c. chicken broth
16 c. broccoli
1 onion
1 table spoon parsley
1 table spoon thyme
6 ribs celery

Put some olive oil in the baking pan, put chicken breast chopped to cubes, then broccoli and onion over, put herbs and salt and pepper as per your taste, carefully spill the chicken broth over everything and cover with aluminum foil and put in preheated oven for 60 minutes, the chicken cubes have to be white.
The complete dish makes 8 x two and a half servings with 200 calories per each serving with just 3 grams of fat.

Diet Plan – HCG approved snacks

Snacks are ok, but on a HCG diet the choice of snacks is limited. Do not forget to count the calories and add them to the total of 500 calories one eats within 24 hours.

The list:

Asparagus is one of the best for hcg diet. 2 pounds are less than 200 calories.
Broccoli lots of protein, vitamins A,C and K. Calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus.
Cabbage eliminates free radicals and increases enzyme production in your body.
Cauliflower is great for prostate and detoxifies.
Celery only has 6 calories per stalk. It relaxes muscles and artery walls, increases blood flow and lowers pressure.
Green bell peppers vitamin A, C and some protein.
Green tea is full of antioxidants and ECGC has fat burning and anti cancer properties.
Kiwi is full of vitamins C,E and K and fiber. Buy organic and eat the skin.
Mushrooms contain lots of antioxidants.
Plums have vitamins A, C and K and less calories than peaches.
Red Radishes contain vitamin C and are very low in calories.
Scallop for selenium and vitamin B12 with lots of protein and only half the calories of a flank stake.
Shrimp has vitamin D, selenium, omega 3 and lots of protein.
Spinach is loaded with phosphorus, potassium, calcium, zinc, selenium and vitamin K.
Starfruit is full of antioxidants, polyphenols and vitamin C and candy taste.
Summer squash very low in calories and contains lots of vitamin C an B6.
Tomatoes are great for skin and free radical elimination.

All hcg lunches and dinners are prepared with some sort of non fat meat and vegetables. Chicken breast is used most, as many find it to have the best taste and is easiest to prepare. In order to prevent your diet from being dull you should always have different meat for lunch and dinner. If you eat ground beef for lunch have fish or chicken for dinner.

Curry and lime chicken with spinach.

For one person:

3 ounces chicken breast
2 tablespoons powdered onion
1 garlic clove, minced
Half a cup of chicken broth
Salt and pepper
Half a lime
1tablespooon curry powder
2 cups spinach

Cut chicken breast to strips and add all spices cook until done. Boil spinach until done. Serve hot.

Diet Plan – Tuscan style chicken breast

Chicken breast with tomato and basil.

For one person:

3 ounces chicken breast
1 tomato
Quarter cup of water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons onion
A clove of garlic
3 large basil leaves
3 leaves basil, rolled and sliced
One pinch of oregano.
One pinch of powdered garlic.
1/8 teaspoon oregano fresh or dried
Salt and pepper

Cut the chicken breast into cubes, than bake the chicken with lemon juice until light brown. Add sliced onion and garlic, water and all spices. When chicken is done add sliced tomatoes and basil and cook for 5 minutes more. Salt and pepper as per your taste and decorate with basil leaves.

Diet Plan – Tomato with shrimp

Tomato with shrimp stuffing.

The hcg diet food choices have to be limited in calories and starch and fat free, but that does not mean they have to be tasteless and boring.
Shrimp is loaded with protein and provides variety and taste for your hcg lunch or dinner.

For one person:

One large tomato
Half a lemon
4 ounces boiled shrimp
Seasoning as per your personal taste

Boil the shrimp, cut it in pieces, add seasoning and lemon juice to make the stuffing, than refrigerate.
Prior to serving cut the top off one large tomato and spoon out it’s insides and replace them with refrigerate stuffing.

Diet Plan – Whitefish

Lime whitefish.

For one person:

4 ounces boiled whitefish

Pinch of ginger
2 lime wedges
Salt and pepper

Make a marinade out of lime juice and ginger (grated), salt and pepper. Cover the fish with marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Put the marinated fish in a pan and bake for approximately 4 minutes on each side or until done.

Diet Plan – Asian Chicken

Asian chicken with cabbage.

3 ounces Chicken breast
6 table spoons of chicken broth
Onion salt
Chinese 5 spice
One clove garlic
1 table spoon of stevia

Cut the cabbage to strips, saute garlic with two spoons of chicken broth than add cabbage and another 2 spoons of chicken broth and apply medium heat. Take the chicken breasts and cut them in strips, put in a pan with 2 spoons chicken broth, stevia, chinese 5 spice and onion salt and stir fry until done. Serve hot.

Diet Plan – Spicy chicken

Spicy chicken.

For one person:

3 ounces chicken breast
0,25 cup vinegar
0,25 cup water
Cayenne pepper
Chilli powder

Make a marinade out of vinegar, water and cayenne pepper.
Cover the chicken with marinade and let it wait for 2 hours. Dip the marinated chicken in chili powder and put it in a pan and bake for approximately 4 minutes on each side or until done. Or preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 20 minutes with flipping them once.

Hcg diet cooking can be tasty too, not just healthy. The key is in variety. Chicken, shrimp, ground beef, fish and all the vegetables from the hcg approved foods list.
